This Finance Manager job in Livingston is an excellent opportunity for a skilled finance professional operating as a Finance Manager or Management Accountant to join the business as it goes through a period of change. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day financial operations of the business. Specifically, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
To be successful, it is anticipated that you will have demonstrable experience aligned with the above, gained in a fast-moving business. Professional qualifications such as AAT or ACCA are a "nice to have" but by no means essential. As well as having a good grasp of the basics, the Finance Manager will be expected to have good communication and influencing skills, as you will spend a reasonable amount of time collaborating with stakeholders across the business. As Finance Manager, you will be expected to be competent in Excel and if you have experience of Power BI, that would be advantageous.
Crucially, candidates who have experience of working in a business going through a significant "change management" process will be at an advantage, as will candidates who are either on a short notice period or are immediately available.
