Financial Accounting Manager - Livingston

Reporting to the Finance Director (but with regular liaison with the wider SLT) and managing a team of two staff, your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Preparation of the monthly Management Information pack and associated monthly reconciliations
• Preparation of annual budgets and monthly re-forecasts
• Cash management and preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts
• Management of the year-end audit and Tax Computation
• Administration of the company's payroll, credit cards and banking facilities
• Significant liaison with a variety of internal and external stakeholders up to and including C-Suite level
• Managing, mentoring and developing a small team
• Providing bespoke reports for the Finance Director as and when necessary

To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you will be a fully qualified accountant with post-qualified experience in a commercial environment.  You will possess strong technical knowledge of tax, audit and financial reporting but be able to think and operate commercially as required.  Advanced Excel skills would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of large ERP systems.  You will face off to a wide and varied stakeholder base, many of whom will be outwith the finance function, so excellent communication skills are a must.
