This Financial Accounting Manager job in Livingston with a global engineering business is a superb opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to make a real difference to a rapidly expanding business. Reporting to the Finance Director (but with regular liaison with the wider SLT) and managing a team of two staff, your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you will be a fully qualified accountant with post-qualified experience in a commercial environment. You will possess strong technical knowledge of tax, audit and financial reporting but be able to think and operate commercially as required. Advanced Excel skills would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of large ERP systems. You will face off to a wide and varied stakeholder base, many of whom will be outwith the finance function, so excellent communication skills are a must.
